Today, I am writing the first official blog of The Perfect Pigg! The store opened on Tuesday, March 10. It was a great first week filled with excitement, happy shoppers, and lots of fun and good food! On Thursday, March 12 things took a turn due to the Covid-19 virus. I still had people coming in the first week, but as schools, businesses and churches began to close everything started to slow down. I have had many people send encouraging text, emails, messages through Facebook, and even stopping by and supporting me here at the store. I am so grateful for the outpouring of love, sharing on social media, and the friendships that are continually being shown to me. I have been torn on what is the right thing to do: Should I close? Should I stay open? I have decided to stay open until I am told to close. I do have everyone’s best interest and safety in mind. I would like to assure everyone that I am sanitizing after each shopper leaves with Lysol sanitizing wipes and spray. I have not had more than 4 people in the store since this all began over a week ago.
What to do now?
I am offering porch pick up, local delivery, and soon shipping. You can call the store at 678-707-8553, send a private message on The Perfect Pigg Facebook page or email me at [email protected] to place an order.

Let me know the item that you would like to purchase. I will have the total ready for you. We can do credit or debit card payment over the phone or I can take cash at pick up. I will also have it bagged and ready for pick up. I can take it to your car, have it on the porch, or meet you at the door, whatever you are the most comfortable with.

Shipping
Shipping will begin very soon. I will have items that are available on Facebook and on the website that are able to be shipped. There will be additional charges for shipping at this time that we can discuss at the time of purchase.
Lastly
I encourage you all to hang in there and continue to support all local small businesses at this time! We are going to get through this and come out stronger for it. I have said this several times, and I truly mean it, I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know who holds the future. Everything is going to be ok, so stay calm and oink on!
